F.A.Q.
What will the Eastside Greenway look like?
The Eastside Greenway will take on different forms in different locations. While we will strive to create as many off-road paved asphalt trails as possible, this will not be an option in all parts of the greenway due to space constraints. Where space is tight, the greenway may end up taking the form of a bike lane or a sharrow.
What's a sharrow?
A sharrow, or shared lane marking, is a travel lane marked for shared use by both motor vehicles and bicycles. More information on sharrows can be found on the National Association for City Transportation Officials website.
How can I get involved?
A series of public meetings are being held about the Eastside Greenway. Please visit the events schedule page for dates, times, and locations.
